Alex Granato is an accomplished American show jumper who has proudly represented the United States Equestrian Team (USET) since 2015. Known for his highly competitive edge and strong horsemanship, Alex began his professional journey developing young horses into successful Grand Prix competitors across North America. In his early years, he gained invaluable experience through catch rides in both the hunter and jumper rings, while also collaborating with breeders, such as W. Charlot Farm, and other clients to train, market, and sell high-quality horses.

In 2013, Alex took a significant step forward in his career by founding his own training and sales operation, Mad Season LLC—named in honor of the first horse he personally brought up to the Grand Prix level, Mad Season. The business quickly became a reflection of his dedication, expertise, and passion for the sport.

His breakthrough on the international stage came in 2015 when he was selected to compete on his first senior Nations Cup team for Team USA. Building on that momentum, Alex achieved continued success at the highest levels of the sport, including multiple victories in North American League FEI World Cup Qualifiers. Some of his most prominent career highlights include representing the U.S. at the 2018 FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, Spain, and earning a Team Bronze Medal at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.

Today, Alex remains a prominent force on the international show jumping circuit, consistently competing at the 5* level. Through Mad Season LLC, he not only continues to develop and showcase top-level horses but also mentors riders of all levels, offering them the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their own goals in the sport. As he looks to the future, Alex remains committed to representing the United States in Nations Cups and major championship competitions, all while fostering the next generation of equestrian talent.
